Scarlett O'Hara/Kittens/Update's story
Scarlett O'Hara is a beautiful 2-year old female Flame Point Siamese mother kitty who was brought to the HSOV on July 30, 2018 along with her six 3-week old kittens.
Scarlett has a cream-colored short smooth coat with apricot shading, a long apricot-colored tail, and a beautiful face with characteristic Flame Point Siamese features including crystal blue eyes. Scarlett has a very sweet disposition and is a great mother to her babies.
Scarlett was given vaccinations, womer, and flea treatment on July 30, 2018. She was also combo tested that day and is negative for feline leukemia but unfortunately tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and is being listed as a 'Special Needs Cat' (and also her kittens). A vigilant pet owner who treats secondary infections can assist an FIV-infected cat to live a reasonably long life. The chances that an FIV-infected cat will pass the virus to other cats within a household are slim to none if no serious fighting or biting occurs.
There were originally four female kittens (one black/white and three calico) and two male kittens (both orange tabby) with Scarlett O'Hara. Sadly, four of Scarlett O'Hara's kittens did not survive :(
Two of Scarlett's female kittens Bonnie Blue and Tara have survived. Bonnie Blue who has a black tabby/white coat and Tara has a brown tabby/torbie coat).
Scarlett O'Hara was spayed on October 24, 2018 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.7 lbs that day.
Scarlett O'Hara and her two kittens (Bonnie Blue and Tara) are now posted under their individual names with updated photos.
Kittens Bonnie Blue & Tara will be spayed in the near future and will be ready to find a home of their very own.
