Sylvester (Neutered) - Update Domestic Shorthair Young Male for sale in Marietta, Ohio

Sylvester (Neutered) - Update's story
Sylvester is an adorable young male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on June 6, 2015 when he was just a tiny 7-week old baby. He was accompanied by his mother Stella and his little sister (who have both been adopted).
Sylvester has a black-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a mischievous-looking face with a pink nose. This little guy is the ultimate playboy and is also a bit of a thief since he has stolen sooo many hearts :) Sylvester is also a bit of a clown since he will do anything to attract attention and amuse everyone (including himself).
We have listed him as a 'Special Needs Cat' since he appears to have some neurological issues which are noticeable when he is walking around, and he has the appearance of being 'under the influence'. However, when he is playing ball or scampering around he looks/act like any other kitten his age. Sylvester had several bad ear infections for which he was seen/treated by a local veterinarian, and the doctor believes the ear infection is to blame :( He resembles a mild CH kitten at times. We hope that someone will give this special kitty the best home ever.
Sylvester was given vaccinations and wormer on June 6, 2015. He was neutered on August 28, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine. These updated photos were taken on September 4, 2015.
Sylvester had a wonderful surprise visitor on September 19 2015 who offered him the hospitality of her home along with another special-needs kitty (Sweet Sioux). They are getting along fabulously and playing/snuggling up with each other!! Sylvester and Sweet Sioux are still available for adoption/rescue by calling the HSOV at

or by sending an email to manager@hsov,org Rescue groups may also contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net)
Sweet Sioux and Sylvester's foster mother recently shared an update about them and reports that they are doing great! Sweet Sioux is much more relaxed since she's able to run around, and Sylvester continues to be a growing youngster! He LOVES wet food, purrs all the time, and plays constantly. They are both very sweet. Sweet Sioux isn't afraid of the vacuum cleaner/sweeper! I've never seen a cat like this ..She will chase the vacuum cleaner when I sweep. She loves the hand tool that I use with the brush. She likes me to rub it on her back :) I would imagine it's because she is deaf that the noise/vacuum doesn't bother her. Sweet Sioux also LOVES to give kisses. And Sylvester loves to climb into our laps and makes four-footed bread (kneading) and purrs constantly :) :)
Sylvester's mother (Stella) was combo tested and was positive for FIV ... Sylvester was tested after receiving this news, and he is also FIV positive.
Sylvester and Sweet Sioux were returned to the HSOV on April 26, 2017 because their foster mother had a wonderful opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming a veterinarian and would be re-locating near the university where she will pursue her DVM degree.
Sylvester and Sweet Sioux are looking for a fabulous home. they are so bonded with each other that we feel it is in their best interest to be adopted together.
